Abraham Alegria Martinez
Abraham Alegría is a practicing attorney licensed in Mexico and founding partner of Alegría Martínez & Fernández Wong, which he founded in 2001 after leaving Baker & McKenzie (Mexico), where he was International Partner and Head of the Intellectual Property Department in Mexico for nine years.
From 1986 to 1994 he was General Counsel of Reader's Digest Mexico, and from 1982 to 1986 he was Director of Patents and Trademarks (Deputy Director General) at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI).
Abraham is a graduate of the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico and has postgraduate studies at the Universidad Panamericana (Mexico City) and the Getulio Vargas Foundation (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). He is also a professor in the graduate program on Industrial Property and Criminal Offenses at the Escuela Libre de Derecho.
