Alegría, Martínez & Fernández Wong S.C. was founded in 2001 by Abraham Alegría, former international partner of Baker McKenzie (head of the IP area) and former Director of Patents and Trademarks at the General Directorate of Inventions, Trademarks and Technological Development (SECOFI 1982 / IMPI 1986), together with Sergio E. Gutiérrez, prominent member of the Mexican Institute of Chemical Engineers and Patricia Fernández Wong, an attorney with extensive corporate experience and head of operations at Alegría Martínez & Fernández Wong.
